Kaduna State Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) Policy

Policy Objectives

  • Increase the capacity of women, girls and PWDs to realize their rights and determine their life's outcome
  • Enable women and girls, young persons with disabilities, the elderly and children access to socio economic opportunities
  • Prioritise research and use of data to inform policy and programming
  • Work with community members to encourage women, PWDs and girls participation in the economic, social and political affairs of the community
  • Create safe and sustainable environment free from violence and conflict
  • Strengthen and reposition the government machinery to deliver GESI results
